What is Concierge Medicine or Membership Medicine?

  • Concierge Medicine is a membership service in which clients pay for additional care services provided by an exclusive personal care physician.

Do concierge physicians bill insurance?

  • Most concierge physicians bill the client's commercial insurance for routine medical services.

Is the membership fee included with insurance?

  • No, concierge physicians bill the membership fee separately. Clients pay for 24 hour-7 day a week access and other client benefits outside of routine medical care. 

What is an Internist or Internal Medicine Physician?

  • According to the American College of Physicians,  "Internal Medicine Physicians are specialist who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness."   

Does Personal Concierge MD admit clients to the hospital?

  • Our personal care physician does not admit clients to the hospital. Our physician uses Hospitalist to treat our hospitalized clients.  In this manner, Personal Concierge MD is allowed to provide clients improved access to the outpatient practice. However, our personal care physician does work closely with the Hospitalists to ensure our clients receive the best care!  

What insurance does Personal Concierge MD accept?

  • We do accept most commercial insurance, Medicare and cash.  Unfortunately, Personal Concierge MD does not accept Medicaid.
